Re: Where is everybody?

I'm here! I have also noticed that things here in the forum have died down a bit.

I was very interetested in seeing how the whole funding situation played out (see http://www.alcor.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=58), but havnt really seen anything come of it.

Max,

Thank you for the detailed reply. I understand now the meaning of this resolution. I agree it is crucial to maintain a viable PCT.

Some people use the Alcor forums for casual discussions, other people look at it as a critical thing, with no room for errors, no room for casual discussion, no room for mistakes, etc. Either we have to post a specif...

Re: Outreach

Alcor needs recognition, acceptance, and members. How many presentations are we doing, and to what extent are we concentrating on each of those things? Are we pursuing speaking engagements for groups or people who are likely to consider becoming members? I wonder if this could be one of Dr More's p...

Re: Notification to Members of Alcor Website Updates

It's entirely possible that we do not have the balance right. Your own view is noted. I want to hear from others before possibly revising our policy. Dr. More, I believe that your initial thoughts about people being sensitive to too much communication/email/notifications is correct. When in doubt, ...
